Not all brokers are money minded. The one I know always tell me and remind me......." MONEY CANNOT FINISH EARNING!" . So don' t be greedy! So I will always remind myself before I hit that buy or sell button.  Most new traders usually starts off negative or low profit and it' s normal. This is a test and a good lesson to learn. It' s to see how resilient and how long you can tahan without stepping out of your comfort zone. It' s normal human nature to want quick bucks or fast cash but stock market is not one that will bring you fast cash. You want fast cash, go MBS Casino or Changi Village (sell backside)......hahaha! Anyway, everyone will learn bit by bit. Baby steps. So far, I do have friends who earns tens and thousands each day and lose tens and thousand as well on stock BUT they cannot afford to lose as their pockets are very deep. They too invest within their means as if they lose, they will lose everything as well. They are also traders like us but just bigger appetite. I think you will do well if you keep reading up and doing research. If you can find a good broker you can speak to (they are super busy most of the time) it will help you more if you are thinking of investing more on stocks. Due to the pandemic, not much they can do, so they hear a lot of people went to invest in stock market and other investments. Some of them without much experience, got burn a little in the beginning as they were following what others buys. Did not know when to hold and when to let go. Plenty of new traders did not do or how to do their homework. So, most of them invest blindly. Some invested in the right stock and earn couple of thousands and appetite got bigger. Then greed took over. Lost not only profit but capital became less and got stuck. Most them was lucky as they play with what they have. Although their money is stuck but at least it' s still there. Just needed time to gain back.  I told them never borrow or take loan to trade in stocks. Then she decided to double up but market crash suddenly crash. Her account went from plus to minus nearly 1mil in less than one day and full in debt to the securities firm. So, her best hope was to commit suicide so she does not drag any of her family members. Not everyone that commited suicide are reported on news / media unless is someone well known

Anyway, 2 separate incidents and both commit suicide because kena burn as playing with fire due to GREED. One of them is my cousin who jump off from Cairnhill Plaza from 33rd floor. My auntie can' t even recognize her son' s face as he face so totally smash. He was only 23 years old. He bought a stock as one of his friends gave inside information that it will be flying but in the end, it went south. He comes from a rich family BUT my late uncle lock his own funds before he passed away and only can be taken out when my cousin turn 30. So, he was in debt of more than $20million dollars. He can' t sell the condo as it was not worth that much then.  Another case was my JB friend staying staying in a condo. Not my friend lar but his neighbour' s wife jump from 7th floor and died instantly. She invested in the stock and made a hefty profit of more than $350,000 in the beginning. Then she decided to double up but market crash suddenly crash. Her account went from plus to minus nearly 1mil in less than one day and full in debt to the securities firm. So, her best hope was to commit suicide so she does not drag any of her family members. Not everyone that commited suicide are reported on news / media unless is someone well known
