CEO may not understand you. Lets put it clearer this way. Gems do shorting of QTV shares to make money from shareholders by selling short first to buy lower later. Because of the huge quantity of shorts, it (gems) can lower the prices shorted. Because shorts must be covered (positions must be liquidated within one day or there must be shares in the shorting account). So Gems has to borrow somewhere for the shares shorted, if not penalties may beincurred. Thus the ability to make the money and lower the prices of your share wil ricochet on your equities/values, you are doing disfavour to yourself and to shareholders. Understand?

Agreed. CEO should not just go for a piece of the action like the BBs in the market. Must not be jealous of BBs' easy money making scam from shareholders' end and joning them in the game that may lead him to nowhere. He better concentrate more on the core business than indulge in speculation of Gems.

Heading back to ground ZERO (sub-3) after surging nearly 38% to 4 cent from news of wanted to sell off some product lines.
This GEMS things and share lending by the company is not helping shareholders but letting the funds and syndicates to make money out of faithful investors. CEO should wake up from this as he's well paid for his job |

When AGM come remember to go say thank to the CEO and their director (the one who was once the analyst who said QTV is worth more than 60cts but now lent shares to BB shortlists) for helping GEM to cover short. | ||||

Laws are always made to advance the benefits to white collars manipulators. Share lending is evil practice, and by implication share borrowing. Thus the whole practice is a scam designed to rip off the majority small retail shareholders.

Share lending lai liao......a bunch of white collars whatever taking investors for a free ride. This statement from the annoucement is really showing how all these white collar whatever suck your money legally and you have no recourse. Further, the Share Lenders listed above derives no benefit, whether directly or indirectly, from, or otherwise pursuant to, the Short Term Share Lending. If they don' t lend shares, GEM will not lend the cash. Without the cash, the company will cease to exist. Then these white collar whatever will not be able to continue receiving their pay package. Are they sure got no indirect benefit? Just playing with words in a legally manner which left those small retail investors lan lan. The laws will protect these white collar whatever. The law will protect GEM even if they short QTV to 0.1cts and used those lent shares to cover. Your share value drop like bird shit the law will not help you. In fact if you think it through thoroughly, the laws is to ensure that these white collar whatever can away with the money scotfree from the system safely while you poor small retail investors who put money into the system cannot never touch them. |

Yes, be very careful with sweet talking CEOs. Worst still, those who keep emphasizing on how low is their share price. This kind of CEO doesn't have passion for the business, believe they should have other agendas.

Sometimes come to think of it, we also need to understand that although the CEO is not too shareholder friendly, he would be better than a sweet talking CEO. If you don' t like an unfriendly CEO, if as long as he is conscientious in trying to bring the company forward to profitability, it is okay. Can buy but not too much yet until some results are seen. However, a sweet talking CEO can ruin you. There are too many sweet talking CEOs in the peeny stocks. So also must be careful of them. QTV CEO is so much different from Sunmoon CEO. Did anyone notice it?
