Our Approach  :

Oceanus Group takes on a Science and Evidence based approach to farming and believe we are the only land based abalone farm in the world to do so. We have also developed our own in-house Farm Risk Management Plan which seeks to mitigate all identified risks associated with land based aquaculture farm.

With a view towards ISO standardization across all our farms in China, we are also in the midst of putting together our farm hatchery manual.

Use of technology in our farm :

Oceanus believe in technology and uses it to improve our productivity and maintaining optimum cost in our farm management protocol.

Our current first line of filtration is the use of natural sand filter which brings our operational cost down quite significantly. We practise weekly water chemistry testing as part of our risk management and water monitoring protocols and our individual tank flow-through system provides for greater control.
