Saw this in EdgeProp yesterday on Oxley projects status update as at Dec 17, 2020... Project sales status definately not worse than other developers. Hope to see good results coming out soon.  Mayfair Gardens: 176 units or 82% sold at $1677-$2089 psf. Mayfair Modern: 94 units or 55% sold at $1730-$2180 psf. Kent Ridge Hill: 410 units or 75% sold at $1423-$2893 psf. Oxley Shareholders' 2021 wishlist: A better than expected financial results to be announced by Oxley.  With the fat dividiend payment in January, would be great for Mr. Ching and management team to use the cash to buy from market to demonstrate confidence in the company. And given the price/asset discount, may be a share buy-back too.  :)

Oxley              -42%    Assuming property stocks rally at the start of vaccine innoculation and Oxley rise up by 75% towards the level of Jan 1, 2020 - the projected price will be 0.33 That is an increase of 150% from todays price.

When the Dec window dressing is over, fund managers will start looking for value plays in January for 2021. The Singapore property market is doing well and majority of the developers have recovered from the March sell off. Oxley is a laggard for now and should catch up when more condos are sold. There is no reason why Oxley is so far behind...  am vested and adding a bit more. Other views? Below is the YTD share price changes comparing to January 1, 2020. Lum Chang    +4% Wing Tai          -5% Tuan Sing        -10% Capital Land    -16% City Dev          -30% Oxley              -42%

The purchase of 100,000 shares (equivalent to S$22,000 only)  by the Chairman is too little to convince that there is any good news ahead.  If the current price is undervalued, the Company would have activated a share buy-back. This is my personal opinion only and I stand to be corrected.

actually it can be looked at another way. alot of these guys could have mortgaged their shared to the bank for cashflow. if it falls below a certain amount, they will face margin call. so its in their best interest to keep the price at a certain level. the fact that he keeps buying these small quantums every now and then actually (in my opinion) seems to be to quite possibly avoid the above, if the shares indeed are mortgaged. this is my personal opinion of course, take with a pinch of salt if you wish.

Definitely. Issue shares is like getting a loan from other investors, where cost of borrowing is much  lower than borrowing from banks. When price goes far below their true value, the owners can always buy back or to redeem the loans.

Some investors see this as a form of firm commitment by its stakeholder When all other big cap property counters move up in late Dec and Jan, it will be natural for other penny stocks to pick up.Since OHL is considered cheap and light weight, the px may spring up very quickly Later, we will be having live address and this maybe a catalyst for all SGX counters which is near historical low.

Facts: 1. There is no " slumber" in SG property prices since Pandemic. Price correction, yes. Will it keep going higher, definitely. I think the market is still in slumber and disbelieving any private property recovery in SG.  The truth is new launches like Clavon in Clementi are selling like hot cakes at incredulous $1,600+ psf prices.

A good gesture but no effect to elevate investor confidence, which might if this is in US, but sadly the market is too small in Singapore and the indicators that Oxley is currently associated with are debts and lawsuits, albeit the dividend announcement.  | ||||

On Dec 8, Oxley Holdings executive chairman and chief executive officer Ching Chiat Kwong acquired 100,000 shares of the company at 22.00 cents per share.
 
This took his total stake in the listed company to 42.49 per cent.
 
Mr Ching has 20 years of property industry experience and is responsible for the formulation of corporate strategies, charting future growth plans and driving overall performance of the group.
 
On Dec 9, Oxley Holdings deputy CEO & executive director Eric Low See Ching also acquired 100,000 shares of the company at 22.00 cents per share.
 
This increased his interest to 28.25 per cent.
 
Mr Low is responsible for the operation of the group including sales and marketing, project development, business development and financial management. He also assists the CEO in charting and executing the strategic plans for the group.
 
This year is the 10th anniversary of Oxley Holdings.
 
The group has evolved from a Singapore-based residential developer to an international real estate developer in the residential, commercial, hospitality and industrial space in over 10 countries.
 
It noted in its FY20 annual report that the novel coronavirus pandemic crisis has presented the group with challenges as well as opportunities which the group will look to capitalise on to emerge stronger from the crisis.
