when m1 was 2.2 they did not find a compelling offer, assuming the offer should be higher so for a buyout now to happen feel it must be in that range or higher. not sure if they knoe something that we dont. maybe the 4th telco decide not to entrr Sin anymore. just dreaming. | ||||

this report is saying, SPH+ Keppel shld buy out M1 and take it private, something like dat... if thats the case, axiata may join in the bidding, bid and take it under their full ownership.

hahahaha..... m1 is still a profitable company, it always has been, hard to sell at 1.5 la... EPS of 14+ cents in 2017, u know how much its PE is?

It looks like SPH & KCL want to get rid of their stakes in M1 and would do so at current price or even lower. Axiata on the other hand would keep M1 for much higher price i.e. > $2 Don&rsquo t be surprised the selling price of the combined stakes of SPH & KCL is lower than $1.63. If that happens, Axiata is likely to be the saviour but they will only come in when there is a mad rush to sell M1 shares say at around $1.50

Yup, and no concern about the counter being suspended if there is impending good news. However, those interested of taking a wager should keep watch on when the counter will resume trading. Not to assume it will always be 9.00am. Example......they can release the announcement at 1500hr and trading can resume at 1600hr. Watch for the re-start! Tomorrow will be the final day to remain halt.

3 days is maximum for halts, any longer need to change to suspend... :) suspend for a good cause is fine... hahahaha
