Well said. The momentum is so good for this clean stock. Business model is intact. Make boats, deliver it, collect cash..... no need complicated fund models or justify anything.... Its a safe long term hold, 5 years at least till a new cycle requiring any planning again..... Keep us updated with your good fundamental and even buying wave information. and great thanks.

The market has been bearish on China for more than 1 years, which did not bother YZJ for rally ~100+%......Fundamentals and earnings are everything...... Actually after a solid 23H1 result of 1.7bn net profit, the sellside consensus for FY23 net profit just slightly lifted to 3.6bn......despite old Ren mentioned in YZJFH' s FY22 earning call that " it' s not an exaggeration that YZJSH will achieve 50% earnings growth in FY2023" (" 扬 子 江 造 船 23 年 实 现 50% 的 业 绩 增 长 不 过 分 " ) And just in YZJFH' s 23H1 earnings call today, Old Ren reiterated " after the spin-off, YZJSH still proof itself being the most profitable shipyard in the world and the 1H earning reached 1.7bn. The full year earnings is expected to surpassed 4.0bn given low price vessels have been fully dilivered." (" 分 拆 之 后 ， 扬 子 江 造 船 依 旧 证 明 了 自 己 的 盈 利 能 力 是 全 球 船 厂 No.1， 上 半 年 实 现 了 17亿 利 润 ， 全 年 预 计 超 过 40亿 ， 因 为 低 价 船 已 经 交 付 完 成 " ). Just to updated the news here and still surprised how informations are isolated in Singapore and market just never do any cross check. One more thing, YZJ' s earnings explosivity will sustain into 2024/2025/2026/....... and longer as long as the newbuilding price keeping climbing and orderbook keeping expanding. An apple-to-apple comparison, in 23H1, YZJ delivered 4*24000 TEU boxship to MSC, which is contracted RMB 150 mn each in 2020, while the new contract of the same size vessel in 23H1, 12*24000 TEU dual-fual with CMA-CGM, priced at RMB 240 mn each, the dual fuel makes ~20mn extra costs and you can imagine how much YZJ can earn when deliver these ships in 2026/27 |

Better get out while you still can. Macro conditions are bearish at least until mid September. FED expected to hike rate then. Whole market is impacted. No matter how good a stock is its always relative. | ||

Sad (or happy?) to say, YZJSB will benefit from the economic woes in China. Steel cost, skilled labour cost and other material costs are likely to go lower & stay lower for longer. So its gross profit margin should keep expanding. If its contract wins are denominated in USD, the weakening yuan will bring in forex gains. |

Wah Fuzzy, this is sing song site now......bring in the mic. Aragosta, I also gotta thank you for your updates. Around div payout time, you prompted a lot on this share. I already had a sizable holding from years ago. Reading from you, I studied into the potential contracts, and bought more. Then the big names in shipping industry piled in the orders. SH has been such an underdog. Figuratively, it has to promise 4, and deliver 10 (the eye watering flood of big name orders), only then (only then) will the price slowly creep up to 3 ......... Definitely patience has been a huge virtue.... Cheers and thank you.
