I think some brother here mention that it is hard to value this comp as they never report Q3 earnings. The next best thing is to look at its past years earnings without SMM. Based on my rough cal, its EPS is about 20 cents. If we use a conservative PE of 10, SCI should be abt 2.00. If we use a crazy PE of 15, it can be 3.00!! The only problem is how many more impairment loss we have to suffer?? |

They will report 2H next Feb. They didn' t report Q3 which was disappointing. India 1H or 2H reported 64M cash flow (I think I can' t remember now). Even though that' s a 1-time thing, at least that alone has brought in something. But I am already in so I will just wait in the mean time.

SCI dont report 2H after demerger, make it so difficult to value based on earnings and NAV, positive operating cash flow alone alone cant tell me much unless experts here can share otherwise. 10c is postiive, $1 also positive, really hard to infer anything. | ||||

My feeling is that it will take a while before it reach 2.00. This is because it has too many impairment loss. I know a lot of people are saying this 89 million impairment loss is one-off. But last year (2019), Sembcorp also has another one-off impairment loss, right? How many such one-off impairment loss can investors tahan? However, I also believe in the long term prospects of this comp. Hopefully, without the burden of SMM, its profits in the future will more than cover all these one-off loss. |

Actually, lookinng back...there is little very little stoppage at price point $1,75.... The jump from $1.7 to $1.8 is quite fast with little settle down. So a pit stop now at 1.75 is not that bad.... |
