Exactly, YZJSB bought the property at a very good price (almost like fire sales). And by the way, no property gloom here as at now! Based on current valuation, property price need to drop more than 30% before loss kick in for them. Furthermore,CBD offices occupancy rate is still very healthy. In fact, new Grade A office buildings (still under construction) take up rate also very good. Take Midtown Bay by Guoco Land which is at CBD fringe (most recent TOP office building) for example. You want lease one whole floor also bo liao. Only remnant spaces here and there left. Look at IOI development next to Asia Sq, they are building it at break neck speed. Why? Because people waiting to lease and move in.

30 March 2023 Yangzijiang Shipbuilding will acquire 39 Robinson Road, a 21-storey freehold commercial building in Singapore&rsquo s Central Business District, for $399 million. Viva Land paid S$500 million to acquire the building in 2020. YZJ has got a real bargain.

It is a real pity @arigosta bolted and deleted all his post on this SH. What he posted made a lot of fundamental sense, backed with good solid information and some analyst reports. We well tolerated his side rantings, smart people are always difficult to handle. Someone who knows him, kindly invite the good man back. I know he still holds this share. Prob accumulating more like me too. I just took some shares out of FH, and the low entry for SH here allowed me more accumulation.
This stock requires patience and b*lls of steel la. Even I came in at 90c unsplit 5 yrs ago, and then added smaller batches at 1.20 and as high as 1.50. This stock has already shown strong buying up power by hitting 1.80. The fundamentals of next 5 yrs is impeccable, Arogosta, DBS, KayHian, all documented it here. Don' t be surprise seeing it hit $2.00 within a year, might even shoot past it if wind blows right. SGX rewards no short term investors or gamblers, the BB shortist will cull you.... Happy investing.
