 Alert Admin 		The reality is chip shortage issues have not been resolved, yet.
The PLAN to increase production is there, but in the mean time there will be holes to plug.
Can be clearly seen from the hot EV sector, which is struggling even amidst great reporting numbers.
Even if they say that there is no issue, it only means that they will not be able to surprise with stronger delivery numbers - investors may be weary.

Till then, AEM may trade sideeways around $4 where the 21-day EMA is supporting.
Actually it is not a bad thing, as it climbed up from 320s only recently, thats a good 20%+.
Take this as a breather / consolidation period, accumulate strength for next leg up when time is aligned.

AEM Holdings chairman Loke Wai San says the Singapore-listed company - which provides Intel with equipment to test its chips - is on track to scale up new-generation testing equipment at Intel's sites before the end of the year.

 Alert Admin 		Close Update: Major Market Indexes Hit Record Highs Monday Ahead of Big Tech Stocks' Earnings This Week

04:52 PM EDT, 07/26/2021 (MT Newswires) -- Major market indexes all hit record highs Monday, continuing the pace from Friday' s record session, ahead of earnings reports from technology giants this week.

Tech heavyweights reporting this week are Alphabet (GOOGL), Apple (AAPL) and Microsoft (MSFT) on Tuesday, Facebook (FB) on Wednesday and Amazon (AMZN) on Thursday.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose by 0.2% to 35,144.31, with the S& P 500 also up by 0.2% to 4,422.30 and the Nasdaq Composite fractionally lower at 14,840.71. Energy was the biggest gainer among the sectors, while healthcare was the steepest decliner.

The US 10-year yield rose to 1.295%, 1 basis point higher from the previous close of 1.285%. West Texas Intermediate futures were 0.2% higher at $72.20.

In economic news, an unexpected decline in June new-home sales and a pullback in the Dallas Federal Reserve' s manufacturing index for July were the only data releases on a quiet Monday before the schedule fills up on Tuesday and for the remainder of the week.

New-home sales surprisingly fell by 6.6% to a 676,000 annual rate in June after declining to a 724,000 rate in May, a third straight decline. Sales were 19% lower than the June 2020 rate.

Meanwhile, the Dallas Fed' s overall manufacturing activity index fell to 27.3 in July from 31.1 in June. The production, employment, new orders readings all increased, while the prices paid measures declined, but remained elevated.

In company news, Hasbro (HAS) reported higher fiscal second-quarter earnings that topped Street estimates and said it was taking measures to ensure that supply chain issues would not impact the availability of its products for the upcoming holiday shopping season. Shares surged 12%, the most on the S& P 500.

Aon (AON) and Willis Towers Watson (WLTW) agreed to scrap their $30-billion merger deal and end the legal dispute with the US Department of Justice despite receiving regulatory clearance in Europe earlier this month. While Aon shares jumped by 8%, the Willis Towers stock slumped by 9%, the worst performer on the S& P 500.

The steepest decliner on Nasdaq was NetEase (NTES), down 14%, after its unit Youdao (DAO), a Chinese education group, said the General Office of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and the General Office of the State Council jointly issued a set of guidelines on July 24. The policy directives contain requirements and restrictions related to online and offline after-school tutoring services.

In the metals markets, gold was down 0.2% to $1,802.30, silver was up 0.2% to $25.27 an ounce but copper was up 4.7% to $4.61 per pound.

One year ago, if you claimed that iFAST share price will smash $9, Singapore investors will laugh at you. Some may even think you are crazy. Then in 2021, iFAST share price surged to $9.30. Most investors are confounded as iFAST is after all a local tech company that recorded a full-year profit of just $21 million. So if you ask me whether AEM share price can rocket to $10, I said why not? After all, AEM has a much higher level of profit (nearly $100 million in 2021). Like iFAST, AEM' s business model is also asset-lite and do not require significant capex. Furthermore, both companies have minimum debts. In fact, I do think that reaching $10 is possible for AEM is a plausible scenario given that a listing on NASDAQ could be on the cards.
