Great stock. This is not your typical s-chip. Look at the assets they have. The M& S business is being acquired by the management and jointly with some very large and reputable Chinese govt linked fund managers. Go check out the SPV used to acquire M& S. And furthermore, it gives almost 24 cents special dividend. This is unheard of from Singapore other shitty s-chips in the past.

Based on announcement, while the company made substantial gain on disposing its assets , but looking at the fine details, Sunpower NTA (net tangible asset) after disposal is only 31c on a fully diluted basis. Did a check. The company financial statement on the other hand use NAV (net asset value), which includes Intangible Assets and Goodwill. Just sharing. I stand to be corrected. |
