MAS & SGX received tonnes of feedback - formally amd informally - over a long period of time already. That' s why a committe led by Minister Chee is reviewing all the recommendations and come up with proposal(s), if any, to make our SGX come alive. But it will take awhile, at least 1 year(?) for the review. Good luck.... meantime, just stay with the deep blue counters like the banks.

Actually when investing, trading over at SGX, just do so based on the SGX norms. And can still make good reasonable risk-adjusted returns. If there is a huge discount per SGX norms, just apply it and trade based on that. If there is a low PE per SGX norms, also just apply it and trade based on that. etc. etc. etc. Just don' t anyhow listen to people shouting |
