ASE.  2. Huatian. 3. JCET. 4. Samsung Electronic 5. Foxconn 6. UTAC 7. Global Foundries Among the above 7 Believe we knew no. 1,2 is confirm out, no. 3 likely low within 3 months time. The only company which most senior knew is Global foundries, who bought Chartered Semi Conductor (CSM) in early 2010 for $ 3.9 Billions and they are located in Singapore too and they had  gone thru  similar deal  with ST(TH) before....................GF is JV of AMD and ATIC from Abu Dhabi. all the above is just my view only.  i really hope the deal can conculde soon...............sian keep on waiting.

Morning gap down and big rush to sell but mostly small lots. Later part of the day big lots buying up. 1000 lots and 730 lots buy up at 625 for examples. There are a couple of 500 lots buying up as well. The sell down lots remain small, one 725 lots sell down and one 500 lots sell down and that' s about it. I don' t want to read too much into this but I am vested now becuase besides the take over saga, the company has recently improve its performance and there might be some upside on this alone. Standing buy to buy more if it fall below 60 cents but that' s about it. I wont keep average down. If it fall below 60 cents, one last average down and after that all I can do is wait, be it good or bad. x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	actually any possibilities of price movement due to iPhone 6 going to announce next week? if good iPhone sales, STATS ChipPAC definitely will benefit in the upcoming reports... the company actually had 40% of the A8 chip production share.. I believe should not too focus on the M& A saga.. my 2c thoughts..  anyway just for discussion only.. not calling for any buy or sell..

Bad for the shareholders of Chinese firms but good news for shareholders of target firm. This is also part of the reason why I buy statschip.     NOTE: This is not a buy call. There is no gurantee that the deal will go through at all.
