i think the situation u are referring to applies to dual listing. but for wilmar' s case is slightly different. its only listed on China, where the price of yihai will then be used to value Wilmar who owns X% of it

Yes, u r right. Yihai ipo range RMB 13.87 billion. It's will be 1 of the biggest ipo. Unless u contra, want to take profit. If not hold till after ipo. Most likely distribute a special dividend.

Judging from the PEs of all the China listings, Yihai will be worth crazy amount... easily trade at 60-80 times, and this will make the market cap bigger than mother share Wilmar itsef... Dont forget Yihai is the King of Oil in China... WIlmar can easily climb ot $6 - $7 dollars imo. | ||||

My speculation is shortists may have ' buddies' who will sell to them at lower prices tomorrow to help them cover. Then when others see got people ' dumping' at say... $4.70? they become doubtful and fearful and lock in profit too early. Then sad later. Hope I am wrong but shortists are so crafty...  |
