Most small investors did go to vent their anger at NOL management in the Q& A session for the 4 years of losses and normally that is most exciting part of the AGM. 4 years of losses if in commercial MNC would amount to removal of CEO and whole board of directors for being incapable.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Ship currently trading at 1.1X P/B range. NAV pre APLL divestment according to 2014 result is $0.91 ( US exchange rate 1.358, NAV US$0.67). Post APLL completion in June, ship should move up to $1.50+ 1.1X P/B , NAV = $1.39 ( NAV = US$1.02 post divestment). Unless there is a surprise on 1Q2015 which would move it lower or higher. 1Q2015 should see a 5% drop in operating cost fro all tradelane provided NOL bunker hedge is being renewed this year and not carried from last quarter, small profit or flat result expected. therefore after shareholder agreed to sell APLL, northward mpvement expected but in a gradual pace as it move toward deal completion in june.

Currently noone buying except house traders doing their normal volume churning. Noble is gonna be bankrupt cos no Ah Gong to the rescue lol, it is enron no2 again and it  shame this kind of company can listed in STI component stock cheating lot of CPF member their hard earned money. This shown that as long u can hide u can reported any fabricated profit u can make up with. Too bad NOL is Kiasu and Kiasi Singaporean management style die die everything reported losses.

Shippers can skip the costly intermodal inland and opt for all water trade lane. NOL might be adding more new ships on the east coast tradelane in 2016/2017 to take advantage, this also might lead to NOL divestment of US west coast port terminals and it associated liner train to unlock value later this year. Let us all pray more divestment is on the way to unlock more value, hopefully a special dividend in 2016. Cost cutting and divestment way to go for NOL to fully realised it potential.

So 50% price drop in bunker price this year compare to last would meant a 10% minimum drop in operating cost. But assuming lagging effect of oil pricing reflected, we can safely assumed a 5-7% drop in operating cost for NOL in 1Q15 due to the collapse of oil price. But again we don know how much NOL hedge it bunker, so just don get hope too high. Worst case senario is a small loss andbest case is a small profit or flat result in 1Q. From 4Q result also see a meaningful drop in operating cost of about 5% due to charters returned in 2014, this year might also see another 5% drop too. Hoperfully transpacific carriers can push through their recommended minimum rate of US$2000 per FEU west coast and US$3900 east coast almost a 10-15% increase from last year. But TSA recommnedation this last few years rarely followed by member carriers, hope this year all wake up and start to agreed on the minimum rate and not trying to undercut each other. Good news is the formation of 2M  this year and O3 last year would curb the top 3 carriers competitive fight for market share.

The US Trade Routes opening will impact the NOL significantly. As long as NOL is focused on its Liner Business, we can expect to see profits for 2015!

x 0   x 1  Alert Admin	don count on us market for nol share price movement, dow up  a lot  and ship inch lower. when dow drop a lot, ship move up so there is no longer any link between the two. Now this month April is the annual contract period for transpacifc carriers, pray hard the minimum rate recommendation hold and 15 transpacific carriers members all stick to it instead of trying to undercut each other. Minimum rate is US$2050 west coast and 4100 east coast. NOL had like 17 transpacific trade lane 7 going into east coast all water trade lane. but again the 50% drop in bunker price might not be factored in may Q12015 result but let us wait and see. IF it is factoed in , high chance NOL would delivered a flat or small profit result with rest of years reporting profit due to low bunker price and return of 19 charters.

Now customers only want basic service that all,  most don wanna pay premium for better service. Lot of carriers are dumping their non core asset in a drive toward commercialised shipping. Ocean transportation only thing they focus on, nothing more dump all the port terminal, equipment asset etc route to profitable year. NOL directors all too dumb to recognise this basic fact and keep all the white elephant asset while paying down very high fixed asset cost every quarter. SELL SELL SELL till NOl only left with the ships which is what most carriers currently had.

Once the potential of NOL is reached, NOL Share Price will soar like the Eagles in The Sky!
