Good for you, Bro investor999. All the best. Your average is low. So you are within striking distance of a lifeline if there is a spike to above 1.28. But for many others, sadly their average is much higher. For them, they will need a very big spike to get out.

Bro Wave, Oh... Ya... Panda just remembered that " Fei Lao" did give a suggested LONG call about one week ago. Stone was around 1.11 at that time. Panda still remembered most of the people here were discouraged and nervous, and the " noise" was quite loud at that time. Hahaha....But, Mr. Market proved " Fei Lao" was right. Price started to move up and hit 1.21 before retreat to current level. |

Bro Wave, Good morning. Holiday very " shiok" .... " Eat and sleep" ..... Hahaha.... Based on Ang Moh' s DOW theory, your analysis on " Lower high and lower low" is correct. But, it would be better to add the trendlines to have clearer picture on the potential price movement, especially when the price break the trendlines, up or down. No.... Panda did not say that. Panda said " U-turn sgnal" could be happened last week. But it seem that it might happen one week later, which is this week (last 5 trading days). Again, Panda do not make assumption, and said, we have to see the next weekly price bar to have clearer picture. " Fei Lao" , that " nobody" sugeested to go LONG on hourly chart which Panda posted yesterday, based on the TA strategy that he learnt from Panda. Reason: " Double bottom was formed and broke the neckline at 1.14/1.15 level, price went up to 1.21 and retreat, re-testing the " neckline" which is the typical senario after breakout from the " neckline" . Of course, there is still possibility that Riverstone might drop below the " neckline" . That is why Panda said, the price action next week is important to Riverstone. Again, it is very dangerous to make assumption on the price trend. Becuase, if your assumption is wrong, then, a normal retail trader/investor usually still believe what he/she assumed, and insist to hold on the opened trades and refuse to cut loss, end up a small loss become a big loss. But, for athe experienced traders, they accepted it and just cut the loss without hesistation.

Yes, fully agree...almost sold off positions due to some bearish comments n charts Eventually good fundamentals wl prevails . Simple truth is price should not come dwn when company expect good results over next few quarters... All the best to the longist👍

Actually I see this counter is in recovery mode, not in falling knife mode and this applies to all other PPE counters. It supposed to stay above 1.26 weeks ago, just because people keep inferring sell, sell and sell couple with mkt bad sentiment, that caused price spiral down to 1.08 Recently 1.15 is a strong support. I will add next week at this range to show support for this counter and all other PPE counters. Short sellers please revise your plans. In conclusion: I see this counter and other PPE counters are in uptrend channel. |

Yes, I said based on the chart, Riverstone is on a downtrend. I stand by this. If there is anyone out there reading this and you know TA, I will be grateful if you can step out to confirm if this stock is on a downtrend or uptrend. Bro Panda knows TA too and given what the chart says, I do not think Bro Panda will say this stock is on an uptrend. Bro Panda has developed a trading system which he refers to as Fei Lole and Fei Phaw which generates BUY (LONG) and SELL (SELL or SHORT SELL) signals for him. That post of his which you referred to wherein you said you saw him say can " LONG" ... what it means is that his trading system has generated a BUY (LONG) signal for him. But that alone does not mean he is saying Riverstone is on an uptrend. UP or DOWN, stocks do not move in a straight line. When a stock is rising in an uptrend, there are pullbacks. When falling in a downtrend, there are rebounds. Which makes it still possible for a trader to go LONG in a downtrend stock to catch a rebound and also to go SHORT in an uptrend stock to catch a pullback. And Bro Panda is a trader. So Bro Panda didnt say Riverstone is in an uptrend. What he said was his trading system has generated a BUY (LONG) signal for Riverstone. To catch a short term upmove. This upmove can be as short as JEEP LONG at 1.17 and unJEEP at 1.20/1.21 for a quick chicken run to make 3 to 4 bids. Hope that clarifies.

Bro investor999, Yes, the stock reached a LOW of $1.06 and then rebounded to reach $1.21 recently. The following day, she closed at $1.17. The story is still being told whether she will break above $1.21 and show us higher OR whether she will find resistance at $1.21 and head back down. Which is which we dunno yet and will have to see what she wants to do next week. But even if she breaks above $1.21 and continue to rise, that alone does not mean she is already on an uptrend. She is still on a downtrend until she can break above her 4-Mth downtrend resistance line. From your posting, you are of the view that she is already on an uptrend just becoz she touched $1.06 and then rebounded to reach $1.21. But that is not the technical definition of a downtrend stock breaking its downtrend to reverse to go uptrend. Stocks with pricing power have seen stronger moves higher than those without. Global Gloves demand still is still very strong across the board, but its ASP increased each quarter pricing power can help RS expand margins, and those fatter margins will lead to larger profits which will be the bedrock of RS potential price appreciation moving into 2021 on strong earnings visibility even though the recent drop of RS was execerbated by earlier than expected short term negative vaccine roll out news. RS is trying to find its short term base at the S$1.00 level but nobody knows where the low is. Medium to Long Term Investors will not be perturbed by short term drawdowns as they have done their due diligence to suit their risk appetite. Once the short term consolidation is over, RS earnings will reassert itself for a price appreciation into 2021. | ||||

I disagree with your factual statement that this is a down trend The lowest was 1.06 and highest 1.21 after breaking up recently. It is far from the low' s and the last 2 days trade had been undecisive. To go back to 1.06 and lower takes alot of selling and I don' t see the sentiment of selling. Between up and down, the chance of up is better than down. I see she is either doing a double bottom with the second bottom being 1.14 or she moves up from now |

I get to read one comment which is constructive, not destructive... productive, not disruptive... and I thank you for that. Actually, my comment about this stock being on a downtrend is factual. Becoz in TA terms, a stock which is showing a lower high lower low pattern is on a downtrend. If I were to declare this stock is on an uptrend, people then have every right to say I dunno how to read chart and want to kay khiang and pretend like I know how to read chart OR I am blind OR I am misleading OR I learnt my chart reading from another planet. From a TA perspective, this stock is indeed on a downtrend. I am merely stating the facts. And this downtrend is still in progress until the reversal comes. That reversal happens when this stock is able to U-Turn and start showing us a higher high higher low price pattern. This is factual too. And I added that if a monkey comes back to take the driver' s seat and provided he wants to go UP (not DOWN), then this stock will see a reversal and happy days will be here again for many of the folks here. That' s my honest to goodness view. What I didnt say is " this stock is hopeless" ...OR " this stock is a goner" ... OR " this stock is finished" and wrote it off as unrecoverable. That is something I did NOT do. Which makes all the difference between someone who is sharing his honest opinion and someone who wants to talk down the stock. Merry Christmas to everyone.
