x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	@investor8, i fully agree with u that amid Covid-19, there are alot of companies which do not specialise in medical PPEs but completely in another unrelated manufacturing products have jumped into the foray to manufacture medical PPEs espcially masks while there r also sole-proprietorship & small partnerships joing the " fun" of earning easy money during this Covid-19, these adhoc, short-term & shortsighted PPEs, masks manufacturing companies & business setups r likely to exit post-pandemic when they see demands not as much as amid-pandemic & no longer r there easy money to earn. However, the stable specialised companies will still exsit & continue with their manufacturing   forte to supply to governments,   businesses & individuals worldwide who r ramping up their supplies & stockpiles in preparation for future pandemics.  Investor8      ( Date: 07-May-2020 09:25) Posted: Singapore is probably a small market for Medtecs. The search for the Sars vaccine was abandoned by big pharmas when they realised there was not going to be big money in it for them after it was brought under control. This could also happen to Covid19. In any case, the world gets an unwelcomed (very welcoming for Medtecs though) new virus or re-emergence of other old viruses every now and then. Therefore, demand for medical PPEs likely to be boosted even after epidemic. Sure, there are many opportunistic businessmen jumping in to manufacture them leading to oversupply. But these same people will exit the market as quickly when the easy money is no longer there.

(5)improvised cloth material mask (6)more washing of hands for poor people (7)Home made remedy Lol

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	@ohm136, have u ever visited the manufacturing plant of any medical, healthcare device/supplies manufacturing companies?  i have visited 1 in SG (not public-listed yet but targetting to be listed) & another in Switzerland (both during biz trips & the SG' s was done in late-Jan this year） & mind u, u will be surpised how many thousands of products they r manufacturing & how many production lines they have in total. Btw, my 2 cousins have been working in the medical sector for more than 2 decades & based on their info, just products & device/equipment related to treating, preventing coronavirus r more than just masks, surgical gowns. in my frank humble opinion, unless we r in the medical, healthcare industry, we will only have the laymen-mentality & knowledge of the works & the products this industry uses including using for coronavirus prevention & treatment. Going forward, the world will be flooded with the products that the Co are producing because new manufacturing plants are setting up everywhere, like in HK & S' pore.

If you keep thinking medtech only make $ from mask, then i think you either just bought the share blindly w/o understand what Medtech biz is doing. Go to the Medtech website to understand more.
