Also satellite communications is meant for when you don't have connection to traditional 4G/5G/wifi connection. It's meant for those in emergency areas like hiking in mountains / remote areas. So SG being an urban area has no meaning at all The iPhone 14 phones have this feature and the subscription must probably have been priced into the phones.
