not only that , id we go to any polyclinic or hospital for any blood test , even for a small prick in the hand for diabetic test, the nurse will use 1 pair of gloves and throw it away after single use | ||||

Bro Panda, I had taken the swab test before at the swab centre. What I observed is: the swabber will don a new gloves for every swab he has taken. Meaning: Every 2 weeks, Sg alone will need 300k - 500k pairs of gloves just for swabbing. Imagine how many gloves we will need per day.

Bro and sister, I hold this share till last month after the massive downtrend. My personal opinion is healthcare share not should trade base on current PE and no more forward PE. Based on my calculation, net profit for riverstone from january 2020 till december 2020 is about RM508.8million. Healthcare PE is about 8.5. The reasonable price for Riverstone share now is at range 90 -100 cents. It is very sad to take it but what to do? Sentiment and hype is not there anymore. | ||||

Bro SGPhantom, Stocks do not move in a straight line. When down, there are rebounds when on the way down. But for a downtrend stock, each rebound will end lower than the preceding rebound. That' s how the lower high price pattern is formed. Traders call these rebounds....dead cat bounce. When a dead cat bounce comes, it is a window to cut higher (for those who wish to cut) and also a window to open a short position (for those who wish to short). That last bounce to 1.21 was good when it was here. In fact, it was so good that it may even have felt to some people like this stock has bottomed out and is ready to rise from the ashes like the proverbial phoenix. But alas, it is only a dead cat bounce. Which is also sometimes called " a sucker' s rally" . To suck unsuspecting hopefuls to chase the stock thinking that it is going to blast off to the Moon. Price is now at 1.08 : 1.09. Which makes 1.21 seems so very far away now... 13 cts away. The market is cruel. One moment, it gives people hope. To see the price rebound from 1.06 to 1.21 naturally gives a good uplift to all vested that the light at the end of the tunnel is coming thru at last. Then with the next breath, the market takes it all back and everyone feels down again. Its lidat one. The market is cruel. Short term traders use a stop loss to deal with this cruelty. Medium to longer term investors bank their hopes on the fundamentals of the stock to live up to its promises to deliver results in due course. And I hope that will be the case for this stock.

The situation in Msia has adverse implications for the following : 1. F & B outlets, supermarkets and entertainment businesses operating in JB town in particular and relying on Spore for 70% to 80% of their revenue. What I heard is many of them have folded up. Can TONG for a few months but not for 9 months. Some more no visibility on how many more months of operating cost they need to burn before normalcy returns. So better to cut and stop the bleeding first. 2. Businesses where production or manufacturing or fabrication is done in Msia and delivery of the finished product is done in Spore. 3. People who commute to and fro Msia and Spore daily to work. 4. Travel and transportation-related businesses where almost 100% of the revenue comes from operating between Spore and Msia. For example, businesses providing luxury and VIP coaches to ferry people to and fro Spore and Msia have all ceased operation meantime. Msia' s number of infections is now double that of Spore. We have more than 50,000 cases. Msia has double of that. And they are still struggling to contain the virus. |
