Where is the down trend, I only see short covering and a obvious big rally. Anyway, the banks were at risk because loans from the oil industries, better oil price isn' t the main point here. It' s the fact that some OPEC members are even willing to sacrifice more means a lot. This is what markets see and price. Not the current little cut. Means oil prices very likely to stablise now, further cooperation to even bring up oil prices is very possible. Banks, shipping ind. , oil ind, commodities up-> more business-> jobs-> better market sentiments. The market is up for a big rally and short squeeze in the next 2-3 weeks.

Less bankruptcies, more investments and more business for oil industry. More lendings by banks. More jobs. Economy as a whole gets better. Stock markets rally. Less termination and more sign ups of telco service contracts. Everything in the economy is linked. | ||||

Signs of BBs absorbing the shares at lower price for singtel and starhub. Good chance of starhub and singtel trending higher in the weeks to come. As for m1, the volume is still dangerously low, could fall much further if any BBs decide to unload. M1 is also the only one that would be affected the most when the 4th telco comes into play.

Haha this CEO is smart.... use company money to buy around $3.10 but then use his own money to buy below $2.80. Why isn't the company doing any share buyback below $3?
