Like this laggi jialakk sia, Selling at discount means their gross margin and profit will be squeezed hard! Lose money only.  Selling existing condo at discount is only for raising some revenue and improving cash flow, not for making profit at all.

this type of resignation problem, blow over quickly. soon no body remember it. sincere, is potential good or bad depending on how citydev digest it. not necessary bad. immediate will not be visible. but that is visibe is the tapestry is almost sold out. |

The main fear is Sincere may keep CDL' s profits suppressed for a long time just like what SMM has been doing to SCI.

In fact , if u really READ into this PR talk ...corp communication ( I call) ...is there any REAL solid plan rather then ....INVEST and see how ?  Fair ...the pandemic give them a BOMB.  but the investment in Sincere ( shld be support not invest now) and handling M& C merger wld certainly weight very  heavily on CDL balance sheet over the next few years ( not next yr ...but if lucky a few years )  Just my view  Dyodd

I very scared of highly leveraged china property plays, esp those loss making ones. When the company is already so highly leveraged. and you add in cashflow problems, sometimes the management get desperate and do some under table maneuvres to temporarily make the books look prettier or have some under table deals/contracts with powerful people that will suddenly pop out of no where when the going gets tough. That said, I believe CDL group is no vegetarian when it comes to due dilligence on property.
