x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	I think reason is results below expectation.   The recent runup from below $8 was on the back of lower cost (RM depreciation) and higher earnings in US$   Octavia      ( Date: 06-Aug-2015 09:45) Posted: 2Q15 results in line with estimates, with net profit rising 7.5% y/y to $36.1m on higher revenue of $661m (+10%), driven by higher shipment and favorable exchange rate movement. Pretax margin inched up by 0.2ppt to 6.4%.

The Group recorded a quarterly profit before tax of S$38.4 million for the quarter ended 31 March 2015, an increase of 13.6% compared to the corresponding quarter of the prior year. Based on tax incentives granted to the Group, income tax expense for the reported quarter was S$5.7 million due to changes in sales mix of tax approved products. Profit attributable to owners of the Company increased by 5.8% to S$32.6 million for the quarter ended 31 March 2015. This translates to a net margin of 5.4% (1Q 2014: 5.2%).

Revenue for the quarter climbed 8.3% to $674.7m, driven by test & measurement, medical & life sciences, and others segments, offset by decreases in computer peripherals and data storage. Overall expenses increased in tandem with top line, except R& D which grew 83.3% to $10.6m. Final DPS of 50¢ maintained.
