Perhaps in the near term, investors may be clouded by various external factors and ignore fundamentals. But in the long run, the share price will need to catch up with fundamental performance. Otherwise, this will give rise to arbitrage opportunity which market forces will gradually, or rapidly, eliminate. So dont pin your hopes on results to propel them to the Moon. If smart money is minded to buy, they would have already done so. Then when results come out, its a sell on news. Smart money make money by feeding on the greed of retail players. Dont expect smart money to help retail players.

If you still have good feeling about the stock u holding, average down is the good way to get back the losses. The key is to catch the bottom, that' s based on experience. Did he suggest that I sell RS there and then when I wrote to him? No, he advised that I should hold on and go along with RS when it is moving up.
