x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Go to Indonesia stock exchange and look at its parent company samudera Indonesia's 1q 2024 result. Samudera shipping contributes bulk of the earnings. Sharp drop in earnings. This explains why Samudera Indonesia's share price did not move..... Go look at the result and then consider if the share is worth a buy at this current price

Meanwhile if you strip out the cash from the mkt cap and the interest income from the P& L the residual business is trading at a P/E of 1x (!) (S$90m/S$90m). I call that cheap. Anyway I don' t care so much - I' ve made my money and I' m out. I' m sure there are people on the forum who will argue more forcefully that this company is cheap.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	I just sold my shares at 93 after buying at 71.5 in March. Back then it was cheap on a fundamental basis (still is) but there was no real catalyst. I personally don' t think the Yemen crisis is a positive but so many people did that I bought on the momentum planning to sell just before the Q1 results either proved me right or wrong, which I did. Got lucky that the momentum pushed the price up so quickly. Will buy back in if it falls back to the 70s or if a real catalyst emerges.
