Pretty sure Thailand will open casinos in the North, East, Central and South - to develop the whole country, especially the poorer areas in the North and East. More than enough opportunities to go around. All have their own attractions. | ||||

My guess? Either Genting lost the Thailand IR bid or BBs are leveraging on STI drop today to collect big time then push up if they got the IR.

I hold a lot of Genting SG shares too, and am only commenting on the potential of a Middle East casino bid. Am fully supportive of a Thailand casino bid, but not really for the ME. Its too volatile politically.
