sgx market is very small there are a number of retailers/funds/bb that ride this wave up to the IPO just to take profit and play short term there are another bunch of BB that take advantage to depress prices and short it low, trigger stop losses and weak hands ultimately this is done for those with the capital to collect at much lower prices it' s the same for almost every " hype" stock. take a look at the glove/PPE counters so far. Announce good results and drop 10-30% from peak, only to climb back up and have higher peaks 1 month later.
