Seatrium has been giving us false impression that Trade volumn is enormous. The moment is enlisted into STI. It shown a true color & trade volumn is insignificant & if continue in this manner + if & only if Q3 or Q4 still has not profitable. I guess SGX shall review of STI status. | ||||

KCL divesting their stake in STM doesnt really reflect much. It is a non-core investment and since they got those shares at 12.2c, makes sense for them to sell at price at or beyond to return their capital. I suppose it is not quite in their interest nor that of STM to rush to sell as that puts immediate downward selling pressure on the stock. There is also no real urgency to divest - where would they deploy those capital to generate better returns? A balanced approach would be a progressive tapering of their position which presumably is what they are pursuing now. | ||||

it is KNOWN that Kep is into the clean energy ...all the way and into the future. Which is WHY they sell off KOM . U mean they still wish to keep 5% ) for what ? Of course this is rigs building which is NOT part of the clean industry . Similarly legacy is to be dispose off eventually ..in total not keeping a part here and there. Which is why I think Dynamac too ( dyodd)

I said before SIA is better bet than Seatrium. I agree Seatrium will rise in long term most rightly after declare profit in 2024. Or your wish will grant true after share consolidation. Look at short term now, SIA keeping rise & rise due to S$0.28 declaration of dividend while Seatrium is still struggling. | ||||

extracted from keppel 1q q& a " There is an agreement between Keppel and SCM that we will appoint an institutional financial services provider to deal with this stake. If you remember, this 5% stake is to provide for specific contingency events. If the events crystallise, then this 5% stake will be used to provide that funding to SCM. " so keppel selling the money will go back to support seatrium if needed. keppel balance base on temasek filing is 3.37% about 2.5+b shares of seatrium. if keppel continue to sell it will take more then 38 weeks to clear all at current volume. they can also keep all for better price. and accounts no need to consolidate into theirs. |
