He is going to make use of Genting cruise ships to bring in the tons of Chinese customers, to The Yokohama IR. Genting Singapore is going to save Genting HK from sinking.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Yokohama is the biggest Japan casino IR prize. It is 20minutes from Tokyo and land cost cheaper. It is basically a suburb of Tokyo. Yokohama is also the biggest port and 2nd biggest City. What more to say but strike Toto first prize if they win?

So of course there will be slight up, slight down. As in any thread, theres will always be the odd people out here commenting negatively. And I do mean odd as in the mental case sense, and by the way, if you want to go deep sea fishing, you use a big freezer trawler. Genting will keep moving up, from now on, bit by bit, albeit some consolidation phases, directly all the way to over a dollar until the results are announced, and then it will sit pretty steady until the IR opens, just the same way Genting was on its way to winning Singapore IR. Will be exact same pattern, . As  for people who said that there will be no dividends when Japan is won, obviously he doesn' t know what' s he' s talking about. Don' t even belongs here. I don' t even want to insult his stock knowledge, if he has one.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	GS is cash rich....as at close of last FY, it was S$3.994 Bn. There was an increase in cash balance despite FY 2020 being a terribly bad year. If GS do win the IR bid in Japan, this cash balance together with extremely low interest JPY loan, will be sufficient for the development.  RWS guests mainly come from SEA region. Whereas Japan IR guests will be from North Asia catchment. There is no competition for patrons among these 2 IR. There will be zero impact on RWS fundementally. No matter how we see it, winning Japan IR bid will be a postive development for GS. Hence, holders of GS stock should hope for success of bid.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Some people gonna tear their hair every time they open up this thread. the torture will be quite excruciating as the time goes on and it will last for some time.   Casino firm Genting Singapore Ltd can beat out rival global operator Melco Resorts and Entertainment Ltd, the other  qualified bidder  in the race to be Yokohama&rsquo s partner on a casino complex, suggests a Wednesday note from    Maybank Investment Bank Bhd. A Monday note from banking group Nomura had been more cautious, saying it &ldquo would ascribe at  least a 50  percent probability of Genting Singapore  being selected as a winning bidder&rdquo for a casino scheme or integrated resort (IR) as they are known in Japan. Maybank said  factors in  Genting Singapore&rsquo s  favour included its  decision to  link  with Japan-based entertainment and gaming conglomerate Sega Sammy Holdings Inc  for a Yokohama project. The latter already has experience of such cooperation via the Paradise City gaming resort alongside Paradise Co Ltd, in Incheon, South Korea. Genting Singapore runs the Resorts World Sentosa casino resort, part of Singapore&rsquo s duopoly. &ldquo If Genting Singapore owns 50 percent of the joint venture&rdquo proposed for Yokohama, &ldquo we estimate that a Yokohama IR will add SGD1.8 billion [US$1.36 billion] to earnings,&rdquo wrote Maybank analyst Samuel Yin Shao Yang. A May 19 note from Maybank had estimated that in the year 2028 &ndash assuming that would be the first 12 months of operation of the casino scheme in Yokohama &ndash it could generate annually US$6.5 billion in gaming revenue, and an additional US$1.9 billion in non-gaming revenue. Mr Yin acknowledged in his latest note on the Yokohama race, recent commentary from Sega Sammy&rsquo s management, that it would prefer to be  a minority partner  in a Japan IR. &ldquo In our view, Genting Singapore scores better in promoting tourism, management and financial ability and responsible gambling initiatives relative to Melco,&rdquo   stated the Maybank analyst. He also noted that the Genting-Sega Sammy choice of construction partner for any scheme in Yokohama (city, pictured) &ndash Japan-based Kajima Corp &ndash &ldquo was  the main contractor that constructed Genting Singapore&rsquo s  Resorts World Sentosa&rdquo . Local authorities interested in hosting a casino resort must first select a commercial partner, and then apply to the national government for the right to host such a facility. Up to three resorts will be permitted in Japan under the relevant legislation framework.
