x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	The 30b dont belong to DBS la. Its their customers deposits they donno what to do with it ( fewer people take loans in high interest environment ) so they lend it to MAS instead .  I presume they will charge MAS a higher rate than what they pay the depositors .

If they give out as 50 cts special dividen , they can do so for the next 23 years . x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Not entirely a wild guess , but with reason . 1) Interim dividen for Q2 qnd Q3 is already 48 cents it is highly unlikely that Q4 will be lesser so I expect 50 cents final . The payout ratio for 9 months up to Q3 is only 45% of its profits . 2) They will continue with a 50 cents special since this year is much more profitatable than last year .
