In 1996, he received the Entrepreneurship Excellence Award that was conferred by Lianhe Zaobao and the Entrepreneurship Development Centre of the Nanyang Technological University. In July 2011, he was accorded the Berita Harian Achiever of the Year 2011 award.
 
He served 3 years National Service and left with the rank of Lieutenant.

 Alert Admin 		Today 2ndChance only bought back 551k shares out of the total volume of 16M shares, at $0.395.  It means BBs have come in and generated such unusual high volume and they pushed the share prices up to $0.405 at close. This is a departure from the past one month trend where 2ndChance is the only 'BB' buying up the shares.It also means that the stock price movement will be larger with new players in the picture. Interesting.
