You are totally wrong man&hellip &hellip YZJ yards are full until 2028 right, no big jump on output volume right. But you ignored price. Nowadays YZJ are delivering orders taking in late-2021 to early-2022, when the newbuilding price index are below 150. Currently, the newbuilding price index approaching 190. We see a smooth increase ~10% yoy. That means, on average, from 2024-2027, the price of vessel delivered will increase 10% year over year. For 2024, the profit will jump to RMB 6bn, FY25 7-7.5bn, FY26 8.5-9bn and I anticipated the peak earnings will see above RMB 10bn since newbuilding price is still going up, even not take into consideration of any capacity expansion.

Needless to compare cost, everyone at every level made money. Proof of pudding is in Gains. At 28-32c Cash EPS, MSCI funds will make them justify 10c divs. " Pay up or we pull down your shares to match your lower divs." We need wait till Aug or Mar to find out. Patience.... One caveat is global trade, any slowdown can cause cancellations, defaults etc. And lower charter income too. So it' s good we have a good team here to keep updating developments. Cheers !!! |

Well, they can affort to give 10 - 12c. Just that they are too prudent with money.  Btw, my cost is about 10 to 20% above yours. |

YZJ is currently running at full capacity. Unless they get approval to add new dock or acquire new yard, that is about all it can take in (orders), without stretching delivery beyond 2027. If not wrong, delivery already crossed into 2028. Efficiency & productivity can help improve margin but wouldn&rsquo t be significant. Hence, profit will just be stable for the next few years. Do not expect big jump if no new development happening. |

Precisely. To put into perspective, at today' s $2.38, we are sitting comfortably on a whopping 60% YTD gain, while its down 5% from ATH of $2.50. The FA per UOBKH point to 2.80-3.00 after year-end results in Feb 2025. Or if 1H in Aug points us that way. Really shouldn' t FOMO, if one can patiently assess upon results.....cheers.
