After XD , you have 5830 shares , and $ 2,862 cash dividen .  Buy 170 shares after the XD if say the price is $29 , you pay $4,930 , means you top up around $2,000 after collecting dividens . x 1   x 0  Alert Admin	On XD date , the new share price will have to account for the bonus issue ( 1 for 10 )  as well as the dividen of 54 cents . For example , if share price before XD is $32.50 , the share price after XD is approximately  $32.50 - $3.25 - $0.54 = $ 28.71 .

If they can really dish out $2.16 for financial year 2024 , then the dividen yield will be around 7% based on yesterdays closing price of about $31.60 .  However , based on today price and after the XD on 5 April , DBS share price will be around $28 plus  . If they dish out a dividen of $2.16 on the back of a share price of $28 , they dividen yield will be around 7.7% . So , I would expect the share price to slowly crawl back from $28 plus  levels after XD  to $32 levels in 2024  provided that they indeed dish out $2.16

MoneyMarketRulez      ( Date: 07-Feb-2024 10:22) Posted: I will offer you another perspective, for every 1000 share (1 lot) that you own today ($32 conservatively), DBS will give you bonus 100 share, this is equivalent to $3200. I don even want to look at quarterly dividend, I am alr getting $3200 💰 💰 💰 if I can afford 1 lot. If you are rich enough and want get some free money, just buy before XD ☺ ️
