Gold keep reaching new high and always the safety heaven in the world when the global stock is falling. No double CNMC is always the best choice to hold at this moment. As mentioned previously, the highest price for CNMC goldmine was 0.31 when the Gold price was only 1540 last year. My own view is if company statements are reliable, assuming their all in cost of gold production is $1,000 per oz factoring in some lower grade ores as well, with just the current price of gold this counter deserves to be between 32 to 35 cents. Having said investors risk appetite on this one is understandably low as the company track record is patchy, not helped by the impact of C-19 on its operations. If time after time they can demonstrate sound reliable mining operations, gold recovery, new reserves, then their valuation should really be tied to the rising price of gold (like established senior miners) with a mulitplier effect on earnings. No doubt CNMC still has lingering country and " new miner" risks. I am investing in their future. Like all stocks, risks exist so please DYODD and keep eyes glued on company development news. I am targeting them to be an undervalued gold play. Remarks : Vested. Not enticement for anyone to invest. Just sharing |

.26 or .265 is a good catch for now resistance will turn support~ likely can release above .34? dont think contra is a good idea thou. its movement is very slow but steady up. took me few months from slightly below .2 to here

Just about every metals analyst on the planet expects gold will go past USD 2,000 per oz. Not if but when. Longer term projections show staggering gold price projections through USD 5,000 and beyond though one should always do due diligence and assess with a serious grain of salt on unrealistic market exuberance. Having said, I believe gold price will continue its strong ascension. On the mature bourses, senior mining stocks all have been best performers of 2020 and analysts are calling for a hyper bull gold market as fiat money becomes more and more devalued accelerated by C-19, trade wars, economic contractions, etc. We can buy physical gold, buy gold ETF or invest in established senior gold mining stocks on foreign bourses but these have ran pretty high and psychologically not an easy decision. The junior mining stocks are now at play in the US, Canada and South Africa markets. For our own little SGX, this now becomes an interesting dilemma - whether our young listed junior miners are worth investing. Let us face it - the country risks are high and the track record is short. However it is just my own opinion that among the SGX listed gold mining companies, the one that stands out for me with potential to show strong earnings from the expected multi-year gold rush is CNMC. Of course this is contingent on sound management, good operational execution and prudent prospecting of reserves for high quality ores. To each his/her own. Fortune favours the brave but never put money into the market you cannot afford to lose. Just sharing. Disclaimer : Vested. Good luck to all investors. |
