 Alert Admin 		Lol SBB in defending only. To move stock price either Ren go into market to buy or yzjfh undergo capital reduction and released 
excess cash to investors. Either happen shortist would be forced to cover at all cost as they need to return borrowed stocks ASAP.

Ship leasing company Yangzijiang Financial is overhauling its risk management structure as part of its ongoing management restructuring.

The Singapore-listed company said the move would see each of the group?s investment committees have more explicit risk management responsibilities.

You' re right. That' s why GIC and Temasek did not consider to invest in this undervalued company with huge cash flow and high dividend stock. If they do, the prices would double or triple instantly or more.

In my opinion, Ren should just liquidate the company and distribute the remaining funds to shareholders.   Running a 5% ROE business is just silly unless there are real and serious plans to run this as a finance/investment company.

Yangzijiang Financial increases maritime investment fund firepower to $600m

Company says it is looking to reward shareholders with dividends and share buybacks 

Yangzijiang Financial says it has boosted the target size for its maritime investment fund by 20% to $600m as it looks to take advantage of opportunities in green shipping. 

The Singapore-listed company said it has already earmarked $300m of the fund for investments into eco, modern, efficient maritime assets, according to a regulatory filing on the Singapore Exchange (SGX).

The company said the Singapore-based fund is supported by its financial leasing team in China which enable its to offer investors an unique fund proposition that combines the group&rsquo s financial and shipping capabilities

Senior Ren is difficult to deal with.
First of all, need speak Mandarin la.
Since Covid-19 no physical meeting I have not participate.
This year can resume attending le.

 Alert Admin 		That why never play against fed rate trend. Fed rate hike = get out of stock asap.
fed ease rate = get in asap but currently fed rate ease uncertain so stay away.
For yzjfh a decision would be made in 2h to whether close shop or continue.
Regardless biden or trump win in nov election, anti china trend would get stronger.
best for uncle ren to distribute yzjfh free cash and go for delist.

 Alert Admin 		Yes, totally concur, even tho I was obstinately hoping something good will come out of this.

One needs to see this on a past 5 yr perspective. SB was turning out into a best in world class. If you add orderbook for 2023-2028, it' s likely more than all their entire cumulative history pre 2022. Hence, investors here were not unreasonable to think he would succeed too. Funny thing is, he is now CEO and Dep-CEO team, but my gut tells me Duo are busy next door, unfortunately sals paid by FH. [after all was SB money....hahaha]. Yesterday' s vegetarian Q& A answers certainly added to this.... 
 
You and many naysayers [incl me] here did us a great favour, took us back to earth on realities. Heavily castigated, but mostly by the penny investors here. If FH had stayed at NTA > $1, they won' t be around here messing... All said, owe you a big thanks, for being a devil to guide us to transfer more to next door. And other CN ETF' s.

We all made bad investments (I have plenty), the key is to move on and recover through other means.
