Imagine those bought SPH at $4ish in 2013-2016. Those who bought at $2ish 2 years ago, are laughing at those who bought at $4ish, and said : haha I bought at half price. Fast forwarding to today, people are buying at $1ish. Do you think this stock can go back to $2ish? Or $4ish? I think so. DOLLAR COST AVERAGING and shut your ear from negative people 😉 😉 |

Quite a few analysts cut their target prices for the stock today after their operational updates. CIMB reduced to $1.35, UOBKH to $1.41 and Citi to $1.17. Combing through those reports, I think it is obvious that the stock is undervalued but the issue is that it probably lacks a clear catalyst for re-rating given the business headwinds the group is facing.

SPH is the weakest stock in the market right now. Still breaking new lows. Makes me wonder if there is major negative news market is expecting which the average joe like us is not aware of? Revaluation of its properties? If so, all other property companies also should be breaking new lows. The reduced profits to be announced should already be priced in by now. |
