Think they are reserving some of their huge profits for 1H21, Jun ' 21. If they repeat div for 1H21 same as 2H20, div per annum wd be 11.2c or 11.3% div yld at current price of 99c. Wow, no wonder price suppressed by LH to RH kakias for their BBs to collect. BBs happy patiently collecting 11.3% div yld, while waiting for some big entrepreneur to take over offer easily at 2-4 lollars, as some said, and who knows maybe within 12 months. Counter not for short term contras, but for long term pockets who can wait and wait, collect and collect the div, and finally hoping for the TO offer. With updated commentaries by Greg regarding spikes of infection cases here and there all over the world, think ppes, masks, etc will cont to be in great demand for many years to come. South Korea reports highest daily jump in daily COVID-19 cases in 3 months
South Korea has recorded its highest daily jump in new COVID-19 infections in about three months, as officials urge the public to maintain vigilance.
The Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency said on Wednesday (Apr 14) it&rsquo s confirmed 731 new cases over the past 24 hours.
They brought the country&rsquo s total to 111,419 with 1,782 deaths.

Not really surprising actually. Taiwan forums were all up in flames when they previously declared the dividend during the FY end report presentation. Many TW investors feel that MT' s management is being too stingy in their dividends as compared to the other counters in TW which are in the same industry that have declared a much higher percentage of their profit as dividends to their shareholders.

wiat for market to digest the news to see if the dividend is attractive and sustainable.. buy only if you can hold.. 5-6% yield also not bad if can sustain a few years.. price is quite safe at this level 93-95 well supported.. if go near there i dont mind scoop some again..

Majority of the shares could be owned by BBs spread among themselves, all patiently collecting the good half yearly div, and waiting for possible takeover, maybe within one year. They also patiently wait to collect more shares by frustrated shareholders, who gave up, seeing price dropping and dropping, courtesy of LH to RH kakias. No choice lah, this counter good for short term pain, but long term gain at current price. Just opinion, only for those who has long term pockets lah.
