SGX does not have enough liquidity or retails to pump up growth stocks especially those that aren' t profitable unlike the NASDAQ The only 1 company I can see somewhat successful growth stock in SGX is iFAST but despite their impressive 60% rev growth and 300% profitability growth the stock price isn' t even double was it was 1 year ago.    Louistan      ( Date: 03-Jul-2024 14:00) Posted: Look at SCI. It is one of the best growth stocks with below SGC average PE. Everytime it goes up 10% it gets hammered down by shortists. Always featuring in the top 20 shorted stocks on a daily basis which never happened 2 years ago. Because of its it remarkable price appreciation over 2 years, shortists think it is overpriced and ripe for shorting when it actually is still undervalued and they are overlooking its growth prospects. Slowly with price stuck in this range everyone will start believing that this will be its long term range and play within this range.  The shortists know that they can' t do the same with the 3 bank stocks which attracts lots of institutional interest.
