x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	so many roof top, so many car parks. as the world move towards electric. the roof area in city area provide space for solar panel installation, the car park provide space for chargin station installed. china is now in winter and car searching for charging station. so the opportunity is there. these all are esg effort. and free money from the sun. if no want to put in more finance  can always combine effort with a start up in solar farm and charging station. then this is new economy. like sembcorp ind (future charging station in singapore) . others like capital, keppel will also have similar opportunity with their in city space. these are not immediate benefits, it take some time. how long? china is now. dyodd

In the past month, Mr Sherman Kwek, the 45-year-old chief executive officer of City Developments Ltd (CDL), has had to contend with two more board member resignations,  taking the total to three since October.  His firm set up a special team to decide on the sale of assets at its joint venture with Sincere Property Group, the Chinese developer that has driven a rift in the family, and to look at restructuring its liabilities. His father, CDL' s executive chairman, came out to defend the investment. OCBC believes there could be further impairments ahead, and Sincere-related developments would dampen investor sentiment in the near term. Apart from these developments, DBS Group Research on 04 January 2021 wrote that CDL will see &lsquo strong earnings recovery&rsquo . CGS-CIMB in December said it likes CDL for its attractive valuations and potential for asset enhancement opportunities. The stock is among the brokerage&rsquo s preferred picks for the Singapore residential property sector. Out of 11 analysts, nine have a &lsquo buy&rsquo or &lsquo overweight&rsquo call on CDL while two rate it &lsquo hold&rsquo . Their average target price is about S$9.45.
