x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	We have three red army last week. Four days todate to recover 1.5 red army. Medtecs is a very volatile stocks. Will attract more and more BB to play this stocks. Fundamental anaysis is useful only if you are super patient like me.  Technical anaysis frankly speaking is based on BB mood. If i am BB, i also trade this stock, too easy to make money from daily medtecs price movement. I am a longtermer. My major investment is in banks, only small portion in medtecs, however, i play more attention to medtecs pricing as bank price movement really boring (but earn more paper gain compared to medtecs). The price movement of medtecs really exciting. Almost kills all traders. DYODD.

Contradictory opinion and discussion is healthy.  Everybody is entitled to their views.  So long as we put forth reasonable arguments and refrain from personal attacks.  This is free market and free speech forum.  I guess there must be contrary views to make a market. Otherwise if everybody is positive and wants to buy, there won' t be sellers.  Reverse also applies.  Just that whoever wants to vest (long or short) needs to know the risks that they are taking.  Cheers and huat to all!!! This week green doji gap up plus hopefully today tall green candle kills the shortiest.  Let me repeat one more time, only BB and longtermer gain in this stock in mid or long run. Short term traders depend on BB mood. Most lilely lose money. Investor8      ( Date: 03-Feb-2021 13:39) Posted: I am not sure if capex can tell the whole story.  Company had already stated that they will approach capex cautiously given the uncertain time-frame of the pandemic.  This was reflected in their reluctance to expend capital for plant expansion during the early stage of the pandemic.  They have also implemented strategies that had increased sales (e-commerce and leveraging on their brand name) without putting excessive demands on their cashflow.  Even if they decide to build a plant in USA, I don' t think it is going to cost a lot.  Like many forummers had mentioned earlier, the barriers to entry in Company' s business is not high.  So, they are concentrating on building their brand in the medical PPE sphere.  Same logic, why would someone buy an Apple iPhone that cost 10 times that of another OEM  Abeng iPone when the latter is good enough.  My two cents worth.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	I guess this becomes a circular argument.  If I am in the company CEO' s position, I will want to wait for more visible future trend before committing capex.  In the meantime, they are forming JVs to distribute medical products.  No large capex requirements here.  I do agree with you that if the future demand for medical PPEs is sustainable, then it does make sense to build manufacturing capacity to meet demand.
