Our market is full of traders, and very few investors who put up real money and willing to ride a long cycle. Many times, profits evaporate and when things turn south, and then it became a permanent loss. So buyers beware. Singapore is a very small market that is prone to manipulations. Perhaps thats why SGX loves to query stock movements. | ||||

Difficult to tell .. am waiting for half report before setting target price. Am not expecting much in the 1st half of this year. If the 1st half result is good enough, 2nd half will be much much better. And 2018 will be a fantastic year ..quite likely the best of the last 5 years. Note the following points: 1. company was laying the foundation for the last 3 years, which imply that the re-structuring etc was completed 2. the movement to SAP 3. bigger production plant 4. active management n other activities. These should lead to better results. 1st half result will indicate how they have implemented all these changes in the company. As a side note, the 52 weeks high/low is 1.7/3.2 cts 2-year price range was 1.7/4.3 cts and the 5-year range was 1.7/5.8 cts. If company is able to produce much-improved results, then I would expect the price should be traded at the higher end of the 5 year high. This is just a guess. For the moment, I will hold n ignore the daily fluctuations and wait for the 1st half result. Just to share my experience w Chasen. Entry was 3.6 cts. Subsequently, it shot up dramatically to 6 to 7 cts. The analysis at that time was that it is a turnaround company and that how much it will be worth will depend on how good is the result. So, I ignore the daily fluctuations n waited for the results. True enough, the results was as predicted. By then the share shot up to a high of 14 cts n backed down to 10/11 cts level. Had I sold in the early stages of the price upsurge, I would have missed out a lot. Whether JEP would the same or not, I am unable to tell. The only issue with JEP is the huge number of share .. 1.45 bil. Just sharing .. all the best to all!

A vol of 40mil today will be very good, if more than 60mil........then open champagne lieow. Cause this will be an indication of 2 things......1st the over-hang at 31 is totally cleared, 2nd one of the 3 parties have broken rank and accelerated the accumulation......IMHO | ||||

This is an interesting case, IMHO there are 3 parties here that want the shares of the company. Also, the share-buy back thingy also provides a floor to the share price (4th party). The 5th party here is the retailers who are the multiplier " effector" they amplifies the buy and the sell........... This should be interesting, especially wi the results coming out in around Aug 17. | ||||
