Venture Corp net profit up 72% in Q1 WED, APR 25, 2018 - 6:04 PM VENTURE Corp has posted a net profit of S$83.7 million for the first quarter, up 72.2 per cent from the same period a year earlier. Revenue in the three months ended March 31 was S$856 million, up 1.5 per cent from the same period a year earlier, partly weighed down by a weakened US dollar. Net profit margin was 9.8 per cent, up from 5.8 per cent in the same period last year. Net cash as at March 31 was S$724.6 million. First-quarter earnings per share was 28.8 Singapore cents, up from 17.2 Singapore cents last year. Aiya..obviously if ur shortists, u would want the price to come down. If ur a longists, u would want it to go up. Doesnt matter as its all controlled by the BBs. Results can be good but if they want it down, it will go down. Results can be chwee but will still rise if they want it up. Just sit back n watch show lor. If wana jeep just buy. Else jus stay sideline. Lets all huat k! |

Its not only Venture that got hit. Almost all the tech stocks worldwide got sold down. Good results wont matter much at this point. Best to avoid. First support $20 | ||||

EPS is only 28.9 which translates into a FY EPS of 1.15. PE ratio even at this price is 20x and that is not even taking into account the bad news surrounding the future of the tech sector. At this price, higher earnings are expected. DYODD. | ||||

Everyone had already expected increase in revenue and profits, but that didn' t stop the BBs and Smart Money from orchestrating the crash. They might even execute another crash tomorrow by lamenting that results were below expectations. The BBs and Smart Money always say whatever they want and they always win.

with such gd results, already oversold la. Diluted EPS was 28.8 cents for the reported quarter (compared to 1Q 2017: 17.2 cents). Cash n bank balances also strong.
