at first i oso liked tis, but i changed decision due to some of their staffs very arrogant on sites and the singtel log in website is reali sucks.... try logging in but keep prompting error , error. Onli after few tries then can, disapponited , sianz  |

what is not right with the cost is past. too much money any how invest without careful considerations. now once they sell the money losing business. the annual operating lost amount will appear right at the bottom line. that is why i said they are now starting to match cost to income. these big business really bad at investment. most of the investment end up loose money one. at times i wonder is there anything behind that we do not know? like singpost the directors sell company with their interest without declaring until now also no see any legal actions taken on them . at least must give back a portion of price paid ma. nothing. corruption departments also no act.

revenue is dropping and cost is NOT dropping as fast ...13,5B out of the 1.48B is NOT good at all ...where to find $$ for dividend if this continues. SINGTEL has NOT done right at all on the cost ....restructure is need for this high 92.5% of revenue used in opcost ???? tmr is XD, it is still stuck at this 2.37 ......what wld be the price tmr XD. When will Singtel see $3 .....just by selling more assets ? Dyodd

Where the talking of share price be going to 3 ? All seem quiet now and before was talking all kind of rubbish saying this year the share price be going back to above 3. Before also talking of got the digital payment license with Grab be good and yet nothing come out of it ??? What NCS going or penetrating into PRC china is too a mistake and sure lost money again. As china is confirm on a long permanent path of declining as their population shrink due to aging and dieing out ( some more this pandemic made by them killed more of their population out too ). 5 G is not miracle as already now going into 6G and yet wasting money to upgrade into 5G ( see that prc huawei as good example of their outcome from boasting of be dominant and wayang talk and boast.... most prc technologies are just " fake boasting" and can never be trusted at all... as prc want " face" only ).

in 2019 the revenue was 17b and op cost 14.8b last year revue 14.6b cost 13.5b so one thing they do right is to manage cost to match revenue. and revenue with grow back up to 17b in time and more. aided by 5g higher usage of new apps. more mobile video call, real time show, what 5g brings is a level up from 4g the demand on data bandwidth. |

optus event quiet down. some goodwill damaged. lost of some potential revenue due to bonus 200gb data. further big financial lost unlikely. i think $3 in future possible again. cause 1/2 y underlaying profit $1.2b and removal of $600m cost over years. dividend policy at 70 to 90% . futher restructuring, removing unprofitable units etc. will return dividend to near 17cents.in time. bonus is the superbank with grab. will that become one like dbs ? time will tell. so the share price should go back to above $3. will not happen immediately but looks likely to me. dyodd |
