Congrats.  I always think  OL very clever one.  Come 2019 when incineration plant starts ops, maybe profit can double or tripple (perhaps tripple a bit hopeful).  I have a mind to jeep also.  But in this condemned mkt, I better give myself a little more margin for comfort.

Yes. Imagine how big Indonesia is, and how important it is to drink bottled water there. It' s a potential growth for them. And payment to the acquired company is in tiers, and payable only if the company meets certain profit targets.

Cash balance drop a whopping 121 mil to 323 mil.. thats frightening.. now they looking to dispose some plants in china.. sigh.. 

Looks pretty bad..

 

Wonder how much BB are gonna pump the share price to sell to those retail..

3Q15 net profit plummeted 42.9% y/y to $6.4m despite a spike in revenue to $133.5m (+32.1%), mainly driven by solid growth from the municipal sector (+45.6%), but partially negated by industrial sector (-38.5%). Gross margin narrowed 16.8ppt to 42.8%, undermined by swelling costs for raw materials, consumables and subcontractors. Bottom line was further hit by FX losses, financial receivable write-offs, deeper losses from associates and JVs, and the absence of tax credits. NAV/share at $0.54.

Share repurchase  (or  stock buyback) is the re-acquisition by a  company  of its own stock.[1]  It represents a more flexible way (relative to dividends) of returning money to shareholders.[2]

In most countries, a corporation can repurchase its own  stock  by distributing  cash  to existing  shareholders  in exchange for a fraction of the company' s outstanding  equity that is, cash is exchanged for a reduction in the number of  shares outstanding. The company either retires the repurchased shares or keeps them as  treasury stock, available for re-issuance.

Share repurchases are an alternative to dividends. When a company repurchases its own shares, it reduces the number of shares held by the public. The reduction of the float,[7]or publicly traded shares, means that even if profits remain the same, the earnings per share increase. Repurchasing shares when a company' s share price is undervalued benefits non-selling shareholders (frequently insiders) and extracts value from shareholders who sell. There is strong evidence that companies are able to profitably repurchase shares when the company is widely held by retail investors who are unsophisticated (e.g., small investors) and more likely to sell their shares to the company when those shares are undervalued.[5]  By contrast, when the company is held primarily by insiders and institutional investors, who are more sophisticated, it is harder for companies to profitably repurchase shares.[5]  Companies can also more readily repurchase shares at a profit when the stock is liquidly traded and the companies' activity is less likely to move the share price.[5]

Aside from paying out free cash flow, repurchases may also be used to signal and/or take advantage of undervaluation. If a firm' s manager believes their firm' s stock is currently trading below its intrinsic value they may consider repurchases. An open market repurchase, whereby no premium is paid on top of current market price, offers a potentially profitable investment for the manager. That is, they may repurchase the currently undervalued shares, wait for the market to correct the undervaluation whereby prices increase to the intrinsic value of the equity, and re issue them at a profit. Alternatively, they may undertake a fixed price tender offer, whereby a premium is often offered over current market price, sending a strong signal to the market that he believes the firms equity is undervalued, proven by the fact that he is willing to pay above market price to repurchase the shares.

Yes. I intend to long it again when the time is right. But one thing, I don' t know very much about this industry. So not 100% confident in holding it for too long.

I believe this is a stock for the long term.  Lady Olivia has just bought a new golden gosling of a different breed n nursing it with tender care to reward her (n others who believe) handsomely.  Very astute move in my view.  Did a lot of people expect her to?  Rags-to-riches people know how to pick a good fight n punch where it matters.
