x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	There is no official announcement by Ellipsiz, it' s an opinion by Lim & Tan (also share the same opinion): Quote:  " Lim & Tan Securities likes Ellipsiz as it believes that it is in a divestment mode and that management will help minority shareholders monetise assets and realise dividends in the process." Ellipsiz would have sold to UMS if they are really thinking of letting go at 7 cents.    My guess is that they want a higher price for Ellipsiz or they may not even let go of their 12%, this depends on Ellipsiz future plans.  Exactly, what do they want to do with the cash?    They already have converted bulk of assets to cash.      They can' t keep paying huge dividends if they do not have revenues and profits.    So it' s a big question mark noone can answer now.    JEP shareholders may hope that UMS buy over Ellipsiz' s 12% of JEP and then go for the rest of JEP.    I suspect this could be the strategy, in spite of the fact that market says UMS would not do a takeover.    No company taking over another would admit they are doing so, that' s plain irrational behaviour, as it would spike up the price making their takeover bid costly.    Instead, a more likely strategy is to buy up quietly as much as possible.  So it makes sense to accumulate JEP and wait for the big show to unfold.
