 Alert Admin 		my opinion, seatrium is newly set up now. we can forget about 8cents to 14.5cents rally which is finance institution step in to re-shuffle the right issue shares.

Game is re-start after share consolidation. since it turn loss to profit, i will take it as a begin of 5 years cycle and i think it is uptrend cycle.

Sembmar started to boom in 2005-2006, in 5 years from 50+cents to 4.5-5 dollars. this is the 5 years we should hold. 

after 2011, 5 years hitting the high turn to plateu, then start to down from 2015-2016. So it is a 5 year (up), 5year(plateu, cannot go higher, business satulated), 5-7(year down, down and down) then 2020 to 2023,(bottom flat, flat flat), then now is the time to step in for 5 years (up, so long as profit can be pushed up in next 5 years).

So i don' t agree with you for 10 years, unless it is a completely new industry which has 10 year to develop the product and expand its market shares (like smart phone, which bring up the semicon). AI may be next but still no mature yet.

 Alert Admin 		Making loss company? No invest at all. 99% bankrupt, 1% like seatrium state owned, gov must pump in funds to keep it survive. But will face huge dilution, so still losing money. Seatrium (plus KOM) had written off close to 7-8billions impairment loss. Hopefully it is clean now and more room for playing financial game to support for next uptrend cycle

but not every yards can be trusted with quality and financing.

the problem korean yards facing is worse than singapore. Singapore is relying on foreign workers. Korean yard is relying on china workers and china and korean workers are aging.

China yard, they can build what they wants any nobody can beat them, it is up to rigs owners if they will face potential political reason of " China made" rigs.

Middle east yard? build for own use only.

Seems like the middle eastern yard IMI is going to build most of the new jackup rigs in the world currently. And the chinese and korean yards can also eaaily get back to the Jackup rig segment.

Don' t think this crazy horse is waiting for result to perform.

the chart performance is tend to repeat 2021 oct to 2023 price performance. seek for lowest at 7.8cents, up to 9cemts, consolidate again at 8.2 cents and chiong all the way to12.5 and 14.5 cents.
 
Seek for lowest at 1.37-1.38, up to 1.70, consolidate again at 1.4-1.41 and chiong all the way to 2.5 and 2.9. 

So long as 1.4-1.41 is not broken and supported well. we can expect this happen again.

Jack up rig utilization rate is 100% globally (excluding China rig) since early 2024. Market rumour, rig owners are seeking to build new rigs but shipyards like seatrium and banks scare to finance the new built rig due to past cancellation. the charter day rate is going up due to shortage of new rigs.

let' s see who is willing to finance and cater the new rig orders.
