x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Oil prices rose more than $1 a barrel on Tuesday, supported by U.S. supply disruptions caused by an approaching hurricane in the Gulf of Mexico and an oil worker strike in Norway. Energy companies shut offshore oil platforms as Hurricane Delta strengthened to a Category 2 and was on track to reach the Gulf of Mexico on Thursday. It would be the 10th named storm to hit the United States this year, which would break a record dating back more a century.

The company is much bigger than just Oil and Gas. Lots of negatives has already been priced in at this level.  Probe deeper into the company and not just be distracted by all the noises. You can try the DLC KeppelCorp for a 5x leverage return if you are bullish on this counter. I bet one will not get to see such distressed prices 6 months on as the world slowly gets vaccinated and life slowly goes back to normal. And this is a fact if you have been following the vaccine developments timetable :). Same goes for SIA and Singtel and all the other distressed blues.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Reuters  is reporting that Petrobras is preparing to launch a tender to build Brazil ' s largest-ever oil platform, according to two people with knowledge of the matter, as the state-controlled oil firm pushes ahead with ambitious plans to boost deepwater production. Petrobras plans to launch the leasing tender for the FPSO by end of the year, the people said. Equivalent vessels for deepwater production have cost between US$2.5 billion and US$3 billion to build. Winners build and own the platforms, and lease them to Petrobras in contracts with daily rates of up to US$1 million that often last longer than 15 years.
