From what little I know about this company, the losses seem to be not a lot, but they plan to do a big thing, hence they need money. What can help them would be an increase in oil price. The plan they have is too new and untested, noone really knows what it is, except they set up a JV company with another partner. Loyz issue shares, the partner company give their expertise. No loss for the partner, but if this fails, the loss will come to Loyz shareholders, meaning all of us (I' m not vested yet, but maybe eventually, see how). I think they need cash now, so the rights will carry on, even half subscribed will help. The issue is with the share price at 1 cent, how on earth will they price the rights? 1.3 cents? How much can they raise? It would not make sense for anyone to subscribe at 0.3 cents higher than what they can buy from the market. They have the warrants, but these are useless if the price don' t move up to the strike price. So at the end of the day, people question why are they raising money for? What is the big plan? That' s what all shareholders would like to know. |

Instead of rights, look to cut costs, place out new shares to reputable investors. U have the fat cheek to ask money from shareholder ONLY AFTER you paid them dividend before. All the best to those holding. But I may attend the egm to 替 天 行 道 . | ||||

At this rate, the rights issue will fail. Doesn' t matter STI still rallies. This will take a long time to see any changes.

I imagine 2 scenarios can happen. One is suddenly good news appear. Price moves up. Second is no news, price slowly ebb due to the rights issue, as people may buy at lower rate when the rights are traded. | ||||

Hiyah, what will be the rights price? That' s important, as if it is higher than the market, the take up rate will be very low. This means the company would not achieve what it seeks out to do with the rights issue, that is to raise funds. Also, since the rights issue is already in the pipeline and known to all, there is a high chance price can continue to slip even though it is already low. This is due to the fact that the future is not so clear as to whether there will be further money calls, dilution due to placements, and how they will use the money raised. |

Then who will buy the rights? How would it be dilutive if no one buys? The company can withdraw the rights issue and there are previous examples.

High chance of impasse nil paid rights scenario:
No bids Huge volume to sell at 0.001 Hence this rights to shareholder is totally useless but very dilutive. All the best to those who continue to believe. I hope I am wrong. Sorry to see lots of people stucked. |
