Not when world 2nd biggest economy. China is fast catching up on US, it stimulus package included RRR 100 point cut. Shanghai Composite Index is up by 37.8% this year.

Not in emerging markets. Rally set to start with stimulus measures as Investors flee US markets.

An idea of a Singapore-China connection in future, was highlighted. S' pore boasts good relationship with China, being 2nd destination after HK to offer Rmb clearing services. Sufficient Rmb liquidity will allow S' pore will have such ability to clear transactions quickly.

Chinese investors could find themselves familiar to on those PRC companies listed on SGX, established REITs and business trust sector also could attract them given the relatively high dividend yields.

S-chip penny's will continue to be play n focus on top volume trade as much as volatility in the work. Coming on is FTSE ST Chinese top index, comprising the 20 largest Chinese firms weighted by market capitalisation, was 0.63% weaker to 224.98 points.

A mixed day for major local firms and it red-hot China play is 'far from over'.

World Bank forecast on global economy would grow 3% in 2015, albeit lower than a previous forecast of 3.4% made last June.

Brent rises to 4-1/2 month high -- Oil prices diverged, with Brent rising to a near 4½ month high and WIT crude falling as data showed the drop in US oil rigs quickened.

After a period of relative stability in oil prices, a slew of mkt participants are growing increasingly upbeat on a turnaround for the commodity, predicting a sustained rally in the near term.

" What we are seeing now is improvement, suggesting a recovery within the longer term downtrend

Oil price collapsed from near $120/barrel last June to a low of $45/barrel in January. It has since re-bounced to abt $60-a-barrel level. Analysts are now contemplating what new equilibrium should be for commodity, with slew of mkt watchers predicting it could climb to abt $70 before end of the year.

Are we seeing an improvement,??, suggesting a recovery toward end of 2015.

Hedge funds and other money mgrs are also those eyeing a sustainable rally. Mkt data from InterContinental Exchange (ICE) showed hedge fund bets on rising Brent crude oil prices.

Saudi-led coalition keeps up strikes on Yemen rebels AFP News

Thursday - Saudi-led coalition warplanes launched new strikes in Yemen despite a demand by rebels for a complete halt to the raids as a condition for UN-sponsored peace talks. The regional alliance on Tuesday declared an end to first phase of its operations against the Iran-backed Huthi rebels and their allies, but vowed to keep hitting them with targeted bombing when necessary.

Saudi Arabia and its Arab allies launched the air war on March 26 in an attempt to restore the authority of President Abedrabbo Mansour Hadi, who was forced to flee abroad last month as the rebels swept across the country.

On March 20 - Twitter, the " Green Brigade" said it had struck a Huthi vehicle.

IS claimed its first attack in Yemen on multiple suicide bombings targeting Huthis at Shiite mosques in Sanaa that killed 142 people and wounded more than 350.

Al-Qaeda has traditionally been the dominant jihadist group in Yemen and has exploited the growing turmoil to expand in the largely lawless southeast.

In Aden, warplanes hit rebel positions and clashes raged between pro- and anti-Hadi forces, witnesses said.
