This is the problem. That' s why I sometimes try to temper expectations when I see posts that I think are a bit way off. For this NOL, I thought all the over-agressive shouting, especially the claim that a big div cld be expected (apparently it originated from a broking hse n echoed here), was a bit annoying.

Has warned when it was above 1.1. The business is not sustainable to support the price above 1.1. The credit of low oil price has been used out since freight rate is record low and stay at loss making level, Maersk merely can breakeven, the rest has to suffer billion dollar loss if this rate continue another 1 year. Billion dollar, just nice eat out all the profit gain from APL Logistic Sales.

The sliding px is really a good learning pt. Beware of those who shout out lofty px without sound support or with questionable arguements, including some broking hse research. Never never listen to them.

NOL bleeding so badly. They sell asset is like blood transfusion. Where got $$$ to give div? Even some broking analysts also anyhow shout - give xxxx % gain as div. They are just sh*ting through their brains. Or purposely anyhow talk to fry mkt. So px chiong. But now crash with reality setting in.
