To work out STA Sing at 29.50 Baht (S$1.30 ÷ 0.04415) as compared to STA Thai at 27.75 Baht. My group of Asian friends have not bought STA Sing but quite heavily invested in STA Thai at average 28.25 Baht due to the hefty premium of STA Sing over STA Thai and the lead mkt being STA Thai which we have accumulating about 40 million shares for a buy and hold until 1st half June 2021 on the strength of good earnings from gloves contribution from STGT of 56% (STA is the owner of RBL for tax incentive) coupled with rubber mkt having bottom out for the rest of the year at Sicom TSR 20 low of 106.00 uscts/kg. Our price objective is at 62 Bant basis Elliott Wave 1.618% Fibonacci Extension but we may adapt and adjust our portfolios as and when the need arises. Whrn the trend changes, we shall change as well. The short term correction to 23.4 Baht/S$1.03 has completed already with an upwards bias. The trend is still your friend and till date has not bent. When STA is listed in two different exchanges, pl be mindful of the exchange rate and not to over push STA Sing. So now at least we now know arbitrageurs or straddlelists will capitalise on the disparity in price in different exchanges. No fear as STA is well supported at the 25 Baht until reporting date release on 14 August. Lets HUAT together!!
