Singapore market, perhaps quite new to this, don't really understand how mining companies work. If an empty well can cut Krisenergy price into half, a second empty well will cause Kris to go broke? Lol

Obviously NO! In Kris lifetime, it is going to find numerous empty wells. But it just need to be successful in a few projects to cover the many cost of failure. Yes the project is that lucrative! One failure is nothing for exploration firms. Just remember to diversify since this is a very risky industry.

Please spend some time to research on how mining and exploration share price work in US before deciding to buy or sell. Make informed decision, don't just follow the market!

For investor who hope to earn good return in stock market, he must at least have a minimum level of foresight to see what the market cannot see current but will see in the future. To have this foresight, it's essential to know at least abit about every aspect of business- econ, politic, accounting, invest, commodty, forex etc. Obviously more knowledge in these area would be better, but given the limited amount of time it's hard to specialized in these area. One can only understand the basic in each area which enable him to do an independent assessment of specialists' opinions in these area.

For investor who can't see beyond what market can see, rather than wasting time forecasting and transacting fee from trading, it is always better for him to buy and hold a diversified portfolio of asset to earn market return.

KrisEnergy on Tuesday said it has acquired a 60 per cent stake in block G3/48 in the Gulf of Thailand from UAE's Mubadala Petroleum.

When contacted, the Singapore-listed upstream oil and gas company declined to disclose the value of the deal.

The acquisition agreement, signed by its unit, KrisEnergy (Gulf of Thailand) Ltd, includes the transfer of operatorship to KrisEnergy.

The other partners are Tap Energy (Thailand) Pty Ltd and Northern Gulf Oil (Thailand) Company Ltd with a 30 per cent and 10 per cent stake respectively.

During.ipo.in july..everyone.rushing to buy at $1.10...and hitting as high as.$1.36..saying.keppel.son...pearl energy the second and ignore 3 years.loss...but after one.out.of ten oil field failed...mood changed...corrected from $1.20..to.$0.69...and someone looking for 10 cents...wow that market..there alway a buyer and.seller....i still believe it worth minimum 37 cents even all oil field failed as that what cash on hand..no matters wat..market set for a correction as dow up too much even sti never.follow much also will affected...looking sti to be more.independent..last..i still like those value stock.like.brc..mencast..select..wee hur..hwa hong..dmx....they still give.good dividend even bad times like these......

From my shifu Jesse Livermore.

1. Go long when stocks reach a new high. Sell short when they reach a new low.

2. In any sector, trade the leading stock - the one showing the strongest trend - in this case, the stock still heading downtrend.

3. Buy rising stocks and sell falling stocks.

4. Do not trade every day of every year. Trade only when the market is clearly bullish or bearish. Trade in the direction of the general market. If it's rising you should be long, if it's falling you should be short.

5. A stock is never too high to buy and never too low to short.

this stock currently is heading new low, its a falling stock, the line of least resistance is going down(STI is going down), and it is the strongest stock showing the strongest downtrend. Finally, its never too low to short. it can go as low as 10 cents.

bought some today too. if drop to same level as rex and rh petrogas, will sell those two stocks and invest in KRISENERGY! definitely hopping to see a repeat of what the management did with pearl energy.
